How to make Cornflake Flapjack

You will need:

150g Oats

75g Cornflakes

150g Butter

100g Brown Sugar

3 tbsp Golden Syrup


Method:

  1. In a bowl, slightly crush your cornflakes bit. Then add the oats and mix well.

  2. In a saucepan, over a low heat, melt your butter, sugar and golden syrup together until well combined.

  3. Then add the wet to the dry ingredients and mix until well coated.

  4. Then in a pre-lined tin (I used a 9inch sqaure tin), put your mixture in and press down with the back of your spoon.

  5. Then bake in a pre-heated oven at Gas Mark 5, 190C or 170C fan assisted for 15-20 mins until golden.

  6. Then once cooled, chop into the size pieces you want and enjoy.
