How to make Peppermint Creams

You will need:

400g Icing Sugar

1tbsp Condensed Milk

2tsp Peppermint Extract

300g Chocolate (milk or dark)

2 to 3 tbsp water


Method:

  1. Firstly in a bowl, to your icing sugar add the condensed milk and peppermint extract and give a little mix.

  2. Then add the water a little at a time bringing it together into a dough.

  3. Then roll your dough into a sausage until it is about 4 to 5cm wide and cut out slices about half a cm thick.

  4. Place on a baking tray lined with clingfilm, then melt the chocolate.

  5. To melt the chocolate: put your chocolate into a microwavable bowl. Microwave your chocolate for 20 seconds at a time mixing in between until the chocolate is nearly melted. Then keeping mixing until the chocolate is completely melted.

  6. Then dip your mints into the chocolate fully coating each one, wiping off an excess. Then pop back on the tray.

  7. Once all of the creams are coated pop into the fridge to allow the chocolate to set.
