How to make Chocolate Chip Cookies

You will need:

300g Plain flour

150g Butter

150g Caster Sugar

100g Chocolate chips

1 Egg

1 Teaspoon Baking powder

Method:

1. Firstly in a bowl, to your flour, add the caster sugar, baking powder and chocolate chips and mix until well combined.

2. Then add the butter and mix in, then add the egg and mix well until a dough has formed

3. Then line a baking tray with baking paper. Roll about 1 tablespoons worth of dough into a ball and put on the tray making sure to leave space in between each ball as they will expand as they bake.

4. Then in a pre-heated oven at Gas Mark 5, 190C or 170C fan assisted bake for 12 to 15 mins until the sides are starting to go golden.
