How to make Cheesy Biscuits

You will need:

125g Plain Flour

125g Cheddar Cheese

125g Butter/Margarine

0.5tsp Baking Powder

0.5tsp Mustard Powder (optional)


Method:

1. Firstly; in a bowl, mix together your flour, baking powder, mustard powder (if using) and cheese.

2. Then add the butter or margarine and mix until it comes together as a dough.

3. Then on a floured surface, roll out your dough, to about half a cm thick.

4. Then cut out your biscuits using a cookie cutter, you can use any size or shape.

5. Place your biscuits on a pre-lined baking tray with baking paper. Making sure to keep space between each biscuit to allow for them to rise.

6. Bake in a preheated oven at Gas Mark 5, 190C or 170C fan assisted for 10-15 mins.
