How to make Cheese and Bacon Turnovers

You will need:

320g Puff Pastry

100g Cheddar Cheese (Grated)

4 Back Bacon Rashers (or 6 rashers of streaky bacon)

1 Egg (Beaten)


Method:

1. Roll out the puff pastry over a lightly floured surface. Then cut into 6 squares.

2. Lay the bacon over the diagonally, if using the back bacon cut the bacon to size.

3. Then fold one corner into the middle, brush with the beaten egg and fold the opposite corner over the top.

4. Brush the tops with the remaining egg.

5. Bake in a pre-heated oven; at Gas Mark 6, 200 C or 170 C fan assisted for 16 to 20 mins
