How to make a Simple 4 ingredient cake Recipe

You will need:

175g Self-raising flour

175g Caster Sugar

175g Margarine/butter

3 eggs


Method:

1. Grease and line a 6 inch (15cm) cake tin or you can use a 7 inch (18cm) cake tin it will just be a little bit thinner.


2. Firstly cream together the butter and sugar in a bowl until well combined.


3. Then add the eggs one by one and mix well after each one.


4. Then add the self-raising flour, and mix until well combined.


5. Put the cake mixture into your prepared tin.


6. Then bake in a pre-heated oven at Gas Mark 4, 180C or 160C fan assisted for about 50 minutes.


7. To test that the cake is cooked all the way through, use a toothpick to put into the middle of the cake and if it come out clean it is ready.
