How to make Strawberry Ice Cream

You will need:

375g Strawberries (hulled and chopped)

95g Caster Sugar

250ml Double Cream


Method:

  1. Firstly, mash the strawberries. You can do this either with a fork or a food processor.

  2. Then add the sugar and mix.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the cream until it is thickened and leaves a trail but doesn't hold peaks.

  4. Then fold the strawberry mix into the cream.

  5. Put the ice cream mix into a freeze able container and put in the freezer for 2 hours.

  6. After 2 hours, mix the ice cream, this will help stop the ice cream crystallising. Then put back into the freezer for a least 4 hours or until your require it.

  7. Then enjoy
